Kinloss council endorse resolutic,
Kinloss Council met for 'the regular
meeting on, , 'ebruary 3 with Reeve Barry
Johnston and all .council memberspresent.
.,Council endorsed. ,the request of the
Township of 'Brant to :. amend the Rural -
Estate Consent Policies instances where
such development is intended. for seasonal
occupancy only and not as a ,year round
residence.
A motion was, passed that council agrees
in principal to the request of Earl Stever, lot
20 concession b to rezone .a' portion of his lot
to accommodate the erection of an additional
• residence . and that the Bruce County -
Planning Department be directed to initiate
full processing of the 'application.

attended council on January 23 to discuss a
water agreement for the supply of water to
the , township garage from the well at -the
Guide South Kinloss Public School. The agreement
and had been drawn up in 1967 but has not -been
Dietz] • signed by the school representatives at that
time. The. school board will 'draw "up' a ne
agreement for council's approval. ' '
In 1983 there were 45 building perm
applications issued valued at $344,000.0
compared to 34 issued in 1982 valued a
$225,950.00.

Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority
concerning the proposed reductu$n of
membership representation to the authority

A motion was passed that application be
made to the Ministry of Transportation and
Communications for the balance of 1983

After discussion of the minutes of the
January meeting Councillors' Hickey and
Todd resolved, That the minutes of the
January meeting of Council are hereby
amended by adding 'theretothe following .
motions: 11 That the Reeve and Clerk are
hereby authorized to submit to the Ministry
of Transportation and Communications the
annual petition'for subsidy on road expendi-
tures made in the year 1983.in the amount of
$296,217.26; and 2) . That the recording of
by-law #1-84 in the January minutes ,include
the mileage rate of 30c .Per mile granted to
the c1er&�`"-taresurer for municipal . business
travelling; and also include the 30c per mile
mileage and $15.00 per meeting _'allo .wane
for the Building- Inspector/Drainage 'Super-
intendent, which he has been receiving since
1982. -
A copy of a letter from Maitland Engin-
eering Services to A. J. Sherwood re a
drainage project on his farm' was presented
to Council and discussed. The Clerk 'was
directed to write to Mr. Sherwood to the
effect that Council couldnot object to a
private drainage project, 0 and that/ the only
requirement would be an agreement regard-
ing any tiling that is to :be , done on road
property.

county fanners; and the. Federation's . stand.
on future waste . disposal. Mr. McQuail
wondered if there would be enough interest
in this area to, have the municipality host an
information meeting regarding future gar-
bage disposal ' and the • possibility of a
recycling program in future.

Auburn on July 9, 10 and .11, sponsored by
the Ontario Good Roads Association: He also
informed Council' that Glenn McConnell had
been enrolled to . attend. ' Council was also
informed that the, • grader motor had been
repaired by a Champion Road Machinery
mechanic 'at a cost of $3,663..00.
Road accounts in the amount of $53.,340.70
were ordered paid on motion of Councillors
Brindley and Todd. This amount .includes;`
the second (final) . payment for the new
grader.

County Pioneer'; Museum 'Volunteers - to
