Robbie Beirnes, coming off his . first

played a key role in the win by turning aside

In Wingham on Sunday for a game against
the Wingham 'B' team, the midgets posted a
7 - 6 win. The game was -a friendly contest
with few penalties and could have gone
either way as the lead changed hands three
times.
Wingham won the first period by a 2 - 1
margin. The teams wasted a lot of "energy in
the second as Lucknow scored three in a row
only to have Wingham 'bounce back with
three of their own. In the third, Lucknow
again scored three in a row and tightened up
defensively allowing Wingham only one goal
in reply, At the bell, the score was Lucknow
7, Wingham 6.

Irwin, 2 assists; Mann, 1 assist; McKim, 3

The tucknow Fleas were busy with two
games last week. Wednesday evening they
played at B'elgrave The Lucknow team was a
combination of seniors and juniors. The
score was tied until the final half of the third
period, which put Lucknow ahead 3 - 2.
Lucknow goals were scored • by • Tom
ChilteM, Mark Bakker and Adrian Helm.
Saturday morning the seniors met Tees-
water for another close match. Teeswater
won the game 2.1. It was a fast paced game
and the teams were -evenly matched.
The Lucknow goal was scored in the
second period by Nathan Daer. Both
Teeswater goals were scored in the third.
Don't forget about this Saturday's evening
