4-11 clubs merge
"Together Today for a Terrific Tomor-
row" is the 1984 theme of the Ontario 4-11
program which recognizes the merging of
the agriculture and homemaking divisions
of 4 -IL
Club leaders from both sectors were on
hand -at the anaival Huron County 4-11. Club
Leaders' -Association meeting held in
olmesvlle Jan. 18 to learn how the Merger
affects4HinHuron.
Huron's representative on the Ontario 4-H.
leaders' commie, Bob, Hearn of Exeter,
said one of the main organizational changes
will be the formation of dub leaders'
groups. As Huron already has such a group
for its 441 Agricultural clubs, the change
will mean hotemaking club leaders will
now be included in this association.
The changes are to be phased -in.
At the meeting, the agriculture club
leaders elected their executive. as usu81,
while the homemaking dub leaders el
a director from. each of their achievement
areas to sit on the club leaders' executive.,
