We are appalled' at the action. ' , of
Attorney -General Roland Penner. of Mani-
toba in changing the conspiracy;to procure a
miscarriage charge ' agaihst' Dr. Henry
Morgentaler to one of_actual procurement of
abortion.
Mr.Penner has supplied the pro -abor-
tionists with their defence. He, is playing
games with the law to uphold his own pro-
abortionist stance. (Morgentaler hasn't per-
formed
erformed an abortion in Manitoba. It'll be hard
to find him guilty of procuring one..) -
Penner's actionis unheard of and intol-
erable.
