Seeking Sun Norm and Mabel Barnard are the most recent Ripley folks to give up on these wintry conditions and seek the • warm sunshine of the South. On Sunday they went to London for an overnight stay. Then on Monday • morning they left by bus for Daytona • Beach, Florida -• the same place , as last year. They expect to return home early in February. • • In Hospital Among those in the Kincardine and. District Hospital this past week were the following people from Ripley and • area - • Mrs. Joy McLean, Dinnie • MacDonald, Orland McLeod, and Jack Carter, all of Ripley and Leonard Reid of Reid's Corners. - Then last Friday after two weeks in Kincardine, Orland was transferred to • St. Joseph's • Hospital in London. For the second tithe in the past month or so, Joy McLean was taken back to St. jos's, London on Monday of this week'. She told that she • knew the Peterson family to which Fran and -Helen belong. She said that her father Bert Peterson drilled a well on their home farm in Greenoch Township years ago.
