attended the 36th annual meeting of United
Co peratiives'ofOntario (UCO) held. Recent-

Kitchener Sunday and spent Christmas with

On Tuesday Brian Falconer brought his
grandmother, Cassie Mowbray home from
Sarnia.
On Monday Hugh McMillan arrived from
Sarnia at Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin's. He
and his wife, Mrs. McMillan •and David and
her .mother, Isobel Tiffin .get ready and go
right back to Sarnia when the road was open.
Agnes Farrier held New Years on Satur-
day
for Mr. and' Mrs. ,Fred Davis, Dana,
Mark and Scott of La Salle and Mr. and Mrs.

On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. ; Clayton
Scholtz and Mrs. Stanley Norman of London
and Lisa Scholtz visited with Mr. and Mrs.

On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Ross Durnin of
Wawanosh and Ruth Ann visited Mr. and

party in Whitechurch Community Memorial
• Hall on Saturday evening.
The folks in the village are having to
remove the snow from ` the roofs of their
houses becausiNof the weight and blocking of
ice which causes water to back up and leak
into the houses.
