members of their family Karen, Mrs. Ted
Evans came home from Georgetown hospital
for, ,Christmas.
Mr. and Mts. David. Pawthrop had
Christmas dinner with Arthur Haldenby.
Pastor and Mrs. M. • Christensen returned
home on Wednesday from spending the
holiday at Montreal.
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Nicholson and family
of Wallaceburg spent a few days with Mr.
and Mrs. Bert Nicholson.
' : Mr. and Mrs. Tom McDonald went to
Kitchener Sunday and spent Christmas with
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Young. Mr. ,and Mrs. Ken
MacDonald, _Carl, Lisa and Heather also
went to Kitchener and had Christmas with
her • parents, Mr. and Mrs: Carl Yeandle.
Sympathy from our community is extend-
ed to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Vassella of
Chatsworth in the death onus mother, the
late
late Mts. Fred Vassella. Mrs. Carl Vassella
was the former Joan Vanstone and taught in
our ' Kinlough School.' She and Carl have
many friends here.

On Tuesday Brian Falconer brought his
grandmother, Cassie Mowbray home from
Sarnia.
On. Monday.Hugh Nankin arrived from
Sarnia at Mr.: and Mrs. Wesley TirtTm's. He•
and his wife, Mrs. McMViillanand David' and
her .mother, Isobel Tiffin get ready and go
right back to Sarnia when the road was open,
Agnes Farrier held New Years on Satur-
day for Mr. and Mxs. Fred- Davis," Dana,
Mark and Scott of La Salle and Mr. and Mrs.
Wayne Farrier, Kimberley and Amy of,
Guelph.
On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Clayton
Scholtz and Mrs. Stanley Norman of London
and Lisa Scholtz visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Lorne Durnin.
On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Ross Durnin of
Wawanosh and Ruth Ann visited Mr. and
Mrs. Lorne Durnin. •
Monday evening guests with Mr. and
Mrs. Bevan Tiffin, Dean and Stephen were
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Tiffin, Lori and Michael,
Winghain; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin,

skiing at Collingwood on Thursday.

party. in Whitechurch 'Community Memorial
Hall on Saturday evtking.
The folks in the . village are having to
• remove the snow from the roofs' of their --
houses because of the weight and blocking of
ice which causes water to back up and leak
into the houses.
On Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Eldon
Emeratin visited with Mr. ,and Mrs. Orland
Irwin and family.

after their holiday here with their folks.
Fred de Boer returned on Saturday after'a
10 day visit with relatives in Holland.

Janet were Saturday New Year's guests with
Mr. and Mrs. Don Stewart, Teeswater.
Janet Laidlaw is now employed at the
George Brophy law office in Lucknow.

Milligan celebrated Christmas with guests.
