Bight gold pins were awarded to
pupils for' perfect attendance; six
silver pins, and brow for the
others. Gary Falconer received a
(certificate for repeating the prim-
ary Catechism, Rev. McKinney
stressed the value of the work in
the Sunday Schools.

Monday last, and attended the
funeral of the late Mrs, A. D.
Beaton. Formerly Elizabeth Holm-
es rMs. Beaton was in her 100th
.year, and resided with her daugh-
ter' in Toronto,
Her husband, who, for many
years kept a general store in
Whitechurch and who" passed away
over 40 years ago, will be,, remem-
bered by many of the older resi-
dents of this district.
Three married „,daughters, and
'one son, Gifford; survive. Inter-
ment was in ClintonCemetery, a„,

baby Joan of Lucknow; visited on
Sunday with Mr, and Mrs, Alex-
ander Leaver.
