of the Missions". and offered pray-
ed, Mrs. T. E, Clarke gave a
short talk on the Canada Temper-
ance Act explaining the benefits
of the act, A film from the Bible
Society, "What no Ball?" was
shown and was very interesting.

with them to spend the winter

Kincardine on Sunday to visit

been ill in Kincardine Hospital.
Mr. James Douglas has been a
patient -in Palmerston Hospital.

GORRIE—A canvass will be
made for the Bible Society in the
Gorrie district during the week
ending Nol:rember 28th. At a meet-
ing held in the Gorrie United
Church last Wednesday it was
decided to hold a meeting in the
Anglican Church at 8.30 iSmulay
evening November 22nd, at which
films will be shown and the work
of the Bible Society explained.
Everyone is Welcome and the can-
vassers especially are asked to at-
tend and receive , their receipt
books and literature.

proved on Sunday.
