planned to conic home in Febru-
ary.

charge of the service in the Cal-

day, speaking in the interest of the
M. and M. Fund of the church. ,

Brydges spent the week-end with

Little Carol. Walker, four-year-
old daughter of Mr. and Mrs Wil-
fred. Walker, spent last week in
Wingham Hospital, suffering from
sore ears, and was able to return
home on Sunday.
Mr. Austin Cook of Toronto
spent the week-end with his par-
eats, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cook of
Marnoch.
BAZAAR HELD AT
AFTERNOON MEETING
'DONNYBROOK-- The November
meeting of the W.M,S, and Ladies'
Aid was , held Monday evening. at
the home of Mrs. Hilliard. Jeffer-
son with a good attendance. Mrs,
Wesley Jefferson had charge of
the W.M.S. meeting- and opened it,
with the call to worship. After
singing a hymn Mx's. Sam .Thomp-
son. read the Scripture lesson.
Two minutes' silence was observ-
ed for Remembrance Day, after.
which Mrs. Hilliard Jefferson led
in prayer. A Psalm was read, in
unison. 'Mrs. James Leddy read
the poem "In Flanders Fields", '
Business was attended to and
Mrs. Stuart Chamney read the
minutes of the" last meeting. A
hymn was sung and MrS. James
Leddy gave a report on the sec-
tional meeting which had been held
in Dungannon, Mrs. Morley Johns:.
ton gave a reading, "Sunset".
Mrs. Charles Jefferson read part
of the first chapter in the new
study book, "Africa Disturbed".
Mrs, Wesley Jefferson gave a, read-
ing .on Christian stewardship. The
offering was receiogd„by jettnett4
Johnston. A hYnin was sung and
Mrs. Wesley Jefferson closed the
meeting with prayer.
The Ladies' Aid meeting waS in
charge of Mrs.' Tom. Armstrong
and opened with' the singing of
four favorite hymns. A psalm was
read in unison, and after singing
another hymn. Mrs. Armstrong
closed the meeting with the Mizpah
benediction.
A bazaar was held, at the close.
of the meeting which provided the
W.M.S. with a nice sum of money.
Lunch was served by the hostess,
assisted by Mrs. Morley Johnston
and Mrs, Charles Jefferson. Mrs.
Sam Thompson invited the ladies
to her home for the December
meeting..
