Wednesday's meeting of the '

opened with the flag break. Scout-

Wednesday night, again brought
a humming and chattering sound
to the bowling alleys as the ladies
gathered for their regular get-to-

El Roses 4 to 0. The Asters played
-- the. Gardenias and the Petunias
played the Tulips, The Gardenias
II and the Tulips came out on top
with, 3 points apiece while the
Petunias and Asters each scored

Exeter ladies visited Wingham
bowling lanes on Saturday after-
noons Wingham winning all three
gameswith a total pinfall of 3134,
a total of 7 'points.
Gwen MacLaurin, Wingham was
high for the afternoon with 256
single, 703 triple. Hilda Brown,
Wingham, was in second place
with 236 and 657.

The North . Huron volleyball
'tournament was 'held in Wingham
on October 28.
Goderich. Seniors and Clinton
Juniors were. undefeated in the
round-robin tournament.• 'Clinton
was runner up for the Seniors and
Goderich for the Juniors. There
were, ,alSo, teams entered, from-
Wingham and Seaforth.

Belgrave Troop
On 'Tuesday evening the Scads
met in the church basement. Four-
teen Scouts were. present. Lorne,
Campbell and Harold Vincent were
in- charge.
Two new bays (have joined the
troop, Billy Cook and Bob 'Taylor,
The Scouts were given signal and
flag skill games, Jack Marks took
up the.' collection. After a few
more , games the meeting was
closed by Murray Coultes,
John Nixon was invested as an
assistant scoutmaster for the. Bel-
grave Troop by leaders of the ,
Wingham Troop At their Wednes-
day evening meeting.

Hold Church Parade
The Belgrave Boy Scouts and
Cubs and their leaders, held their
annual• church parade on Sunday.
They formed in a group at the
United Chuich and marched to
the Knox Presbyterian Church,
where service was conducted by
Rev. .T. Greed, who based his
talk on Scouting and 'how good it
is for the boys, Mrs. Green sang
a solo, •
The District Commissioner • of
Boy Scouts, Mr. Archie Gowanlock
of Walkerton, was present at this
service.

game total of 4,966 to 4,632, taking
9 of a possible 11 points.
Ian MacLaurin was high man
of the day with, a 282 single and
