Family Gathering
On 25th Anniversary
The immediate families and Mr,
and Mrs. E. J. Hedley 'of St. Marys
were guests of Mr. and Mrs. James
Carr on Friday when they cele-
brated their 25th weddiag. anni-
versary. Mr, and Mrs. Hedley were
the attendants at 'the wedding.
There were about 30, at the ,cele-
bration, including Miss Edna Carr
of St, Thomas add Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Keith of Toronto, A buf-
fet ,lunch was served and Mr. and
Mrs. Carr were presented with sev-
eral beautiful gifts. "

BELGRAVE- About 100 mem-
bers of Knox United Church en-
joyed a pot luck supper bn Friday
evening in the Foresters' Hall,
Rev, R .E, McLagan of Blyth said
grace and also gave the address
and showed slides following the
supper.
' It was stated at the businasa
meeting that the goal for this con-
gregation fiir the next year would
be $12,375.00..

BELGRAVE — The Canadian
Girls in Training held their Hal-
lowe'en party on Thursday evening
in the church basement, with each
girl bringing a gift. The girls en-
joyed several games, and then the
costumes were judged by Ted Fear
with prizes going to the following:
Best dressed lady, Doreen Smythe;
best dressed man, Florence Rinn;
best Hallowe'en costume, Marie e. Noble; funniest costume, Linda
Rinn.
More games were played, follow-
ed by a sing-song after which
lunch of hot dogs and Chocolate
milk was served. The singing of

FORDWICH-LTlie Ladies' Auxil-
iary to Howick Legion sponsored
a very successful Hallowe'en dance
in the Fordwich hall on Friday
night, The costumes were many
and varied.
Prize winners were: Best Hal-
lowe'en costume, Miss Elaine how-
ler, Harriston; best comic couple,
Miss Mary 'Meighton, Clifford and
Donald Weber, Lakelet; best clown,
Fred McCann, Fordwich; youngest
person in costume, Judy Lynn, 22-
months-old of Fordwich. Felker's
orchestral supplied the' music.

last Tuesday evening in the S.S.,
room of the Unifed Church for the
Hallowe'en social. Many were in
costume and the judges, Mrs.
George Fisher, Muriel Moore and
Leine Forster awarded the follow-
ing prizes.
