William Prickett, who resided at
the theme ,O his daughter, log,
George liotchlriss and Mr. Hotch-
kiss, ,died in 'the Whigham Hospital'
On Sunday,
He was born in England .94 years
ago, a slur of the late Mr, and Mrs,
Anthony Prielcett, He Was a stone
mason and bricklayer by trade in
England, where he Married Mary
Norris, HiS wife died in April,
4955,
They came to Canada in 1924 and
settled at Aylmer, where lie took
up farming, He retired in 1943 and
they made their home in. St, Thom-
as until his wife's death, He has
since lived with his daughter here,
Surviving besides his daughter,
(Margaret) Mrs, Hotchkiss, are
three sons, Ernest of England;
Miles of 'Tillsordnirg and James of
St, Thomas; a brother, Joseph, in
England, 13 grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren. A son,
George, died in August, 1933,
Mr, Prickett was member of
the United Church and the Orange
Lodge.
The funeral will be held this af-
ternoon (Wednesday? Amp. the L,
Sifton funeral home at St,
Thomas with Interment in Aylmer,
Rev. Craig will be the officiating
clergyman,

Baxter Stevenson died on Sep-
tember 23rd in his 69th year. He
was born in Grey Township, the
son of the late John Stevenson and'
Mary Hislop.
Mr. Stevenson farmed in Grey
for about 20 years, 'leaving there
for Windsor where -he was em-
ployed •with Fruit Producers. He
also worked in 'Calgary, Penticton
and Victoria, B!C., Where his last
labors were.conducted. 'He was in
'good health until about 'two weeks
before his /death.
/ For over 30 „rears 'Mr. Stevenson's
chief ;interest was the .distribution
of Gospel tracts and literature and
his efforts were •seif supported.
He 'had a kindly IdisPosition and
friendly personality.
Services were held at the D. A.
Rann funeral holne in Brussels and
conducted by Mm Frank Guthrie
of Guelph. 'Interment was in
Brussels Cemetery. Mr." *Guthrie's
text was, "Happy are the dead
that die in the Lord".
Left to mourn his loss, are three,
brothers, William A., of Redlakc
Road, Ont., James of Brussels, and
John and a sister Mrs. Richard'
(Margaret) Carter of Grey Twp.

Edward King, 'Archie Engel, Ron-
all Gordon, Stwart Stevenson and
Donald Clark, Murray and Wil-
liam Stevenson were flowerbearers.

Her 'travelling costume was a
royal blue wool jersey dress, light

accessories and a corsage of red
roses,
The bride's Sister, Mrs, Leonard
Jenkins, was matron of honour and
wore a pink nylon chiffon cocktail-

blue gladioli. •
