Five Kinettes and two Kinsmen from Wingham attended the fall council at Preston over the week- end. A dance was held at Leisure Lodge on Saturday evening, which was attended by a large crowd. On Sunday morning the women attended the Kinette breakfast, and the Kinsmen held a business session. They saw the Preston Scout House Band put on a splen- did performance, In the afternoon they attended the governor's din- ner, which encluded the fall council. Mr. and Mrs, Mel Brown ,of Kitchener spent the week-end in the village.
