IN THE SPRING OF 1958, through the untiring, efforts of several
members of the community, a Boy Scout troop was formed in Bel-
graye. There had been the need of something of this nature for the
boys. in the village and surrounding - community for several years,
Lorne Campbell and John Nikon are the Jeadere, and the group holds
meetings every Tuesday evening in the basenient of Knee United
Church. At•present the boys are working on their second class Scout
teete., The group enjoyed camping out several. times this summer,
ancrildotook part in a field :day at: Camp Martyr' near Tiverton.

C,G.I.T., as well as all the 'wo-
men of the congregation, The
meeting was under the chairman-
ship of Rev. Clarke.
The hymn "Take Time to Be
Holy" opened the fenction, follow-
ed by the Lord's prayer. Mrs.
M. T. MacLean read the Scripture•
lesson. i group of C.G.I.T. mem-
bers sang a chorus "Harvest Time,'
after which Mrs. Ira McLean led
in prayer. Mrs. Charles aVfcCutch-

-presided and gave a talk on prepar-
ation 'for worship, and led in the
call to worship with the theme,
"Fellow Workers with God", and
read; Scripture. Mrs. E.• Dow led
in the missionary prayer:

new study book,. using maps; saying
Africa 'was the second largest con-
tinent. It comprises a fifth of the
world's surface, with 198 million,
