Garry Chapman, who spent the summer Weeks at the Smith home, returned to his home here, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Groskorth ,and Karen, returned home on Thursday froma trip to Milwaukee and left on Saturday to visit with her mother, Mrs. Fred Kagg of Willowdale. Paul Groskorth, who has been on a bus trip with other teachers, for the past six weeks, to the West coast and down to Cali- fornia, returned home. All left on Sunday to spend this week at a cottage at Lions Head, lVfiss Elaine Conn accompanied Karen Gros- korth to spend the week at Lions Head. The ball team from here journey- ed to Sarnia last Wednesday, and were defeated 13-6. Sarnia return- ed here for a game on Saturday and defeated the local team 7-3, with George St. Marie and Billie Tiffin, as umpires. Mr. and Mrs. Chas, Tiffin visit- ed on Sunday with ,her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brown of Luck- now. Mrs. Reuben Tiffin was under the doctor's care during the week-end and Miss Emma Robin- son and Mr. Graham Moffatt visit- ed on Sunday at the Tiffin home, Douglas Farrier of Kitchener visited a few days last week with Wayne Farrier here, and 'Mr. and, Mrs. Clifford Farrier and children visited on Sunday with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Farrier, and Wayne Farrier accompanied them home to Kitchener. Mr, and Mrs. Carman Farrier of Long Branch, also visited with Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Farrier over the week-end. Douglas Coultes was recently a. patient in the Sick Children's Hos- pital, Toronto, where he had his cast changed and now he can walk on crutches, With a short cast on his leg.' He returns to Toronto this week, and hopes to be free of the cast altogether, after wearing it for almost three months. Miss Irene Pat'On of Wingham, left two weeks ago, with a group of teachers friends, from Port Mc- Nichol for Port Arthur and then on to Winnipeg and on a tour that took them to Fort Churchill. They return home this week. Miss Lilian Smyth spent the week-end with Toronto friends, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Coulter and their granddaughter, Jane Coulter, of London, are spending A few weeks at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Greenaway, Mr, and Mrs. Dan Tiffin and family spent Sunday with Mr. and, Mrs. Thos.
