ity Anglican Church, Fordwich, for
the marriage of Mary Elizabeth
(Betty) Sanderson to Kenneth Ar-
thur jacklin, of Kitchener. The
bride is the daughter of Mrs, Eg-
bert Sanderson, Vordwich, and the
late Mr, Sanderson, while the
groom is the seri of Mr. and MrS,
,7, jacklin, Bluevalo, The or-
ganist for the double-ring ceremony
was Miss Elva Foster of New-
bridge, and the soloist, Mrs. Carl
Douglas, of Behnore, sang '"The
Wedding Prayer" during the dere-
niony and "The Voice that Breath-
ed O'er Eden" during the signing
nf the register. Baskets of gladioli,
ferns and candelabra foisted the
setting in the church.
GiVen in marriage by her uncle,
Mr. Gordon Steinbacher, the bride
wore cathedral wedding' gown of
chantilly lace and nylon bine styl-

A reception was held in the Sun-
day School room of the church
following the ceremony, where the
bride's table was centred with a
three-tiered 'wedding cake and
decorations were formed of pink
and white gladioli and 'candles, Re-
ceiving the guests the bride's
mother wore a mauve nylon figur-
ed dress with white accessories
and corsage of white shasta mums.
She was assisted by the mother of
the groom who wore a turquoise
sheath dress with beige accessories
and a corsage of pink carnations.
Guests were present from Kitchen-
er, Waterloo, Whitechurch,
grave, Brussels, Wingham, ' Lis-
towel, Pluevale, Fordwich and
verton.
For their wedding trip to North-
ern Ontario Mrs. Jacklin wore a
blue sheath dress with matching
duster coat, white accessories and
a corsage of pink carnations. The'
young couple .will reside in Kit-
chener,

ripe apples)
71/2 cups (314. lbs.) sugar
• bottle Certo
To prepare juice. Remove 151o;
sona and stem ends from about 3
quarts fully ripe apples. Cut in
small pieces, but do not peel or
core. (With soft, very sweet
ap.ples, add 2 tablespoons lemon
juice.) Add 3 cups water, bring
to a boil and 'simmer, covered*
10 minutes. Crush with masher
and simmer, covered, 5 minutes
longer, Place in a jelly. cloth or
bag and squeeze out juice. Men.
sure 5 cups into a very largo
saucepan.
To make jelly. Add sugar to
juice in saucepan, and mix well.
Place 'over high heat and bring
to a boll, stirring constantly. At
once stir in Certo. Then bring to
a full rolling boil and boil hard
for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, skim off foam
with metal spoon, and pour
quickly into glasses, Cover at
once with ,144 inch hot paraffin.
Makes about 12 medium glasses.
