a double-ring wedding ceremony
in the Wingham United Churah on

Lynn Hoy, R.R. 1, Ethel, • The
bride's parents are Mr. and Mrsa
Gordon Walker, Wingham and the
groom is a son of 'Mr. 'arid Mee,
Wilfred Hoy, R.R. 1, Ethel.
• The bride's floor-length gown of
silk organza with French lace was
trimmed with sequins and pearls
and styled on princess lines with a
,slight train at the back. 'It fea-
tured lily-point sieves and her
finger-tip veil was held by a jew-
elled headdress of rhinestones. She
carried a bouquet of Better Time
roses and white Shasta mums,
Mr. Walker gave his daughter 'in
marriage.
Miss lararices Walker was her
sister's maid ,of honor and Miss
Lois Crawford was 'bridesmaid.
They were gowned alike in street-
length sea foam bitte crystal charin
dresses with cummerbunds and tai-
lored bows at back. They wore
large matching picture hats area
carried bouquets of Shasta mums
and Happy Day roses.
Miss Marlene Jamieson of. Wing-
ham was the flower girl and wore
a dress identical to the other at-
tendants. She carried a basket of
white -Shasta mums and pink car-
nations,

the groom, was groomsniart and
the• ushers were Raymond Walker,
Wingham, brother of the bride, and
Robert Binns, of Harriston,
Mrs, W, W, Currie, Wingham,
was ;the organist. She also accom-
panied Miss Velma Ballagh of
Teeswater,, who sang the Lord's
'Pritaei aiid "Together".
• Mrs. Walker received the guests
at the 'reception which followed in
the Belgrave United Church base-
ment. She wore a blue crepe dress
with white accessories. The groom's
mother .aseisted. Her dress was
streamer 'blue and she wore white
accessories. Their corsages were
Happy Day roses.
Out-of-town guests atended from
London, Stratford, 'Kitchener, Lis-
towel,. Belgrave, Brussels, Belmore,
Gorrie and Bluevale,
The-bride and groom had planned
a trip to Northern Ontario, Ottawa
and Montreal. Mrs. Hoy chose a
Grecian pink linen ensemble with
white accessories and a corsage
of white Mums for travelling.
The young couple live in
Winghann. • '
Prior to the wedding Miss Lois
Crawford was hostess at a shower
for Miss Walker, .The bride-elect.
Was presented with two end tables,
a coffee, table and two pictures
About 60 friends attended this
function and an enjoyable social
evening was spent., The guest of
honor also received a bride's book.
