Mrs. Agnes McDonald of London spent last week at the home of her son Robert, and Mrs. McDonald, and: renewed other acquaintances in the vicinity. Little Miss Anne McKercher is a patient. in the Winghain Hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery. Mr, and Mrs. William Phair of Toronto visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Selah Breckenridge. They also visited sit the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Doig in Wroxeter. A number of ladies attended the trousseau tea on Saturday near Fordwich in honor of Miss Betty Sanderson, whose marriage to Mr. Kenneth Jacklin takes place on Saturday, Aug. 22nd in Fordwich Anglican Church. McLean 'pre- sided and Mrs. H. Timm acted as secretary, Minutes and correspon- dence were dealt with. A donation of $5.00 was voted to the local Howick Pair Boaid. A committee was appointed to work on the Tweedsmuir Book and the roll call was items for the book.
