Midgets were hosts to the Teeswater team on Thursday night to start a best- of-seven ,series to determine -a winner for 'this group. Through a series of luck and good playing Whitechurch came through again to take the first game' of the series with .a score of 8-6. it was a good ball game with every possible arrangement of plays. There were errors, hits and runs and Teeswater and White- church both came up with a home run. There was excellent umpiring by Mr. Tiffin at the plate and Mr: Weiss on the bases.
