purchased a home in Long Branch,
visited on Wednesday, last at the
home of Mrs. Albert Coultes, and
with. Mrs, John Gaunt,
Phillips families In W. Wawanosh
attended the funeral of the late
Jacob Hunter of 4V, Wawanosh, at
the Lueltnow Funeral Home, with
Mr, Harald Vincent, 9th Con. of
E, Wawanosh had the misfortune
to lose a big steer in June and Dr.
McLennan, Seaforth, pronounced
the cause Of death due to rabies.
Mr, Vincent lost a cow in Decem-
ber, when one morning he went to
the harm and met a fox in the
passage way and killed it with a
piece of piping. In a few weeks
the coin died, The fox had entered
the stable through the top 'of the
door into the pen of loose cattle.
Mrs...-John .Caruthers, who was
staying .at the. Fisher home while
Mr. and Mrs, Fisher. were on their
trip to, the St. Lawrence ,Seaway,
was taken ill and was, taken from'
Wingharn Hospital to Victoria
Hospital, Lon:don. She arrived
home 'on Saturday and. attended
the McKenzie-Lowry wedding, held
at noon on Saturday in Pine River
United', Church. .Miss Lowry is
