Doreen Mae Burden, daughter of
Rev, and Mrs. James A. Burden of
Scarborough .and. Lloyd Arthur
Webb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Webb, Pinkerton, were married at
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church,
Wingham, on Saturday, July 4th.
Baskets of red roses, lilies and ap-
propriate summer floWers, amid
lighted candelabra decorated the
church.
Dr, Alexander Nimino officiated
and Bruce Nuhn of Fergus presid-
ed at the organ. Miss Yvonne
White of Clifford and Joe Baker,
Wingham, sang three du&s, "God
'Rath Not Promised", "Consecra-
tion" and "Now I Belong to Jesus",
Mr, Burden gave his daughter in
marriage, She Close a full floor-
length wedding gown of Swiss lace
over layers of satin and net which
fell in a chapel train. The fitted
'bodice featured a seeded pearl
sweetheart neckline and Short
sleeves. The fingertip tulle veil
was caught with a pearl crown
headpiece and she wore long, point-
ed Swiss lace gloves. She carried
a white Bible, the gift of the
groom, with pink rose buds and
streamers.
Miss Velma Stapleton, of Wing-
ham, was maid of honor. She wore
an aqua tissue taffeta dress With
a balloon skirt, which was street
length. The lace bodice Was fit-
ted, with a high neckline and
three-quarter length sleeves. The
cummerbund had a bow with
streamers.
Miss Mineke ICoeslag of Pinker-
ton and Miss. Lynne Stuckey of
Wingliam, 'bridesmaids, wore iden-
tical gowns and all wore white ac-
cessories and carried nosegays of
white carnations.
Clarence Webb of'Pinkerton was
his brother's groomsman ,and the
ushers were the bride's 'brother,
Arthur Burden, of Scarborough and
the groom's brother, Bryan Webb of
Pinkerton.
Receiving the guests at a recep-
tion at Elttevale United Church,
the bride's mother wore a delphin-
ium blue,lace street-length sheath
dress wit matching sacque. Her
accessories were white and she
wore a pink rose corsage,
The groom's mother received in
a powder blue applique sheath with
white aceessorles and also wore
a Corsage of pink' roses.
Guests from a distance were
present from Chatham, Toronto,
Montreal and Sarnia,
.Before leaving on a trip to Win-
ona Lake, Ind„ Mrs. Webb don,

2 tablespoons finely chopped on-

Mix meat, seasoning, bread
crumbs, egg, liquid and onions.
Shape into 12 patties about I/4 to

Melt butter in frying pan. Add
pre-cooked rice green pepper, and 2h,
cup of the onions. Saute over med-
ium heat until rice is lightly (brown-
ed, stirring constantly, Then add
bouillon cube, water, sug,ar, 34 tea-
spoon of the salt, and 11/3 cups of
the tomato sauce. Mix lightly with
a fork, Bring to a boil. Simmer
uncovered .5 minutes,
IVreanwhile, combine ground ioeef,
bread crumbs, pepper, and =remain-
ing onions, salt, and remaining
tomato sauce. Mix well. Press
