John Os- trum was chairman and about 275 parents and interested friends at- tended. 'Richard Scott opened the recital with the playing of the na- tional anthem. Mr. Pym spoke briefly, giving encouragement to his pupils, The following pupils took part in piano numbers: Grade I—Joan Cantelon, Wendy Fuller, Gale Stokes, Grade II—Joanne Dunbar,, Ruth Harnilton, Donald Collar, Heather Hueston, Barrie Conron, Audrey Collar. - Grade III—Helen 'Hotchkiss, Bri- an Cashel; Gill Thomson, Susan Spry, 'Gary Stokes, Ruth Hotchkiss, Wayne •Caslick, Grade IV—Sandra Dunbar, Lor- na Woods, Dianne Davidson, Carol Walsh, Janis Henderson, Lynda Green. Following the program refresh- ments were served in the church schoolroom when parents . and 'friends had an opportunity to meet Mr, Pym. The noted progress in the past year's study was com- mented upon. Mr. Pym, who has been a successful' music teacher here for the past 20 years, is also organist and choir master of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and is in charge of Hymn Time over the local radio 'station.
