Miss Fennell said that the evening
meetings were esPecially inspiring,
when delegates of different colors,
in their, national dress and speak
in their own languages, were
in charge of the meetings, where
they learned a new hymn in ,Jap-
&nese and the Lort14.3 ?prayer was
always prayed in a 'different lan-
guage.
Mrs. BeeerOft then 'showed Miss
Fennell's slides of. Japan and Ko-
rea, while Miss Fennell gave the
storY. Especially,interestingto this
group was 'the work of D. Flor-
ence Murray who works among
the lepers in Korea. Mrs, Coultes
led in a sincere vote of thanks to
the guest speaker`. ~
Mrs. Fred COok of ''Westfield
gave a mouth organ selection, "In
the Cross Be My Glory Ever". Mrs.
James Leddy of Donnybrook gave
a reading, "God's Great Design"
and Mrs. J. D. Beecroft gave two
readings, "June" and "Abort Ben
Adhem", Mrs. MoBurney closed
the meeting, with prayer, The la-
dies were presented with different,
floral corsages and joined their
floral groups for' the delicious
lunph that followed,

WHITECHURCH— The monthly
meeting and quarterly birthday tea
of the W.IVLS, of the United Church
Was' held on Wed•nada.Y last an.the
home of Mrs. Albert Coultes with
18 ladies present and with the pre-
sident, Mrs. Milian Moore, presid-
ing and leading in the Prayer of
Approach.
Mrs. Dowling and Mrs. Dan Tif-
fin read the Scripture passages
from Ephesians and 'Acts and Mrs.
Moore gave the meditation talk on
Peter and his prejudices 'against
the common things of life, Mrs.
Ezra Seholtz sang "Thy Will Be
Done in Me". Mrs, I. D, Beecroft
had charge of the chapter from
the study book "Concerns of a
Continent", speaking on Hawaii
arid its many churches, religions
and problems. Mrs, Moore led in
the prayer for missionary workers
and the success of their .endea-
yours.
An interesting letter was read
from Miss Agatha Coultes, the Un-
ited Church W.M.S. worker In the
Edmonton hospitals and the meet-
ing.was elosed with the Missionary
Monthly prayer in unison.

at the home of Mrs. J, D. Beecroft
When the W.Itif,S, will entertain the
Mission Band at a picnic 'meeting.

ed, plans were Made to hold a cold
meat supper within the next few
weeks, and a committee was ap-
pointed to make the plans.
