Mr. and' Mrs. J. J. Mitchell re-
paved the sad news on Sunday
evening that their son, John, T,
had been killed in an airplane, He
went through several of the large
battles during the war, was wound-
ed and sent to England, 'where he
'afterW.ards transferred to the fly-
ing corps."

don Kirton, R.R. 3, Bluevale, into
hospital with a fractured wrist.
Samuel Waxman of Brussels re-
ceived painful injuries to his left
step of a truck and he fell with
the leg caught in the step. He was
allowed to return home after treat-
ment at the hospital.

his hooks, according to the audi-

On Tuesday night shortly after
10 o'clock fire was noticed issuing
from the Lepard Hotel stables, The

night's on a barn floor with her
right 'knee broken was the harrow-
ing experience of Miss Catherine
Ross, 70 years old, Who farms two
miles north of Whitechurch. On

the cattle, the ladder slipped and

floor, fracturing her right knee. On
