The East Wavvanosh Council
held, its inaugural meeting on Janu-
ary 12, Reeve. Hanna in the chair,'
After signing the declaration of
offiCe, Rev. Charles Krug address-
ed the council and prayed, asking
for Divine guidance for the council'
during 1959. Reeve Hanna thank-
ed Mr. Kreg for, attending the
meeting.
The reeve then addressed the
council, asking for co-operation

new councillor, Sitrion Hallahan,

on Friday evening with the Even-
ing Auxiliary catering for a turkey
dinner.

the dinner and' Russel Zurbrigg,
superintendent, Presided for the
usual business proceedings, Re-
ports were given by Earl Hamilton,
secretary; Jack Walker, treasurer;
Roy Bennett, attendance secretary
and Mrs. Russell Zurbrigg for. the
Vacation Bible School, All reports
showed a successful year, both in
high attendance and from the
financial standpoint.
