Character, she said,' • can be andi
la being developed 'day 'by day. It

temptation is greatest. It is some-

to, thereby helping us to maintain
a higher ideal of living so that
this Canada of ours can`thrive and
be an example to other eountries.
'Courage is one of the master
traits, of the mind, and each per-

than he thinks in an. emergency.
Think right, work right and do
right, in order to maintain courage
with which to achieve the best re-
saltS.
keeping a cheerful front is •an
asset one should •be proud to own.
All great leaders seem to be en-
doted with elarfulnesS 'because
they know they cannot attract fol-
lowers in any other way, hut this
cheerfulness must be Sincere.
Co-operation, the speaker stated,
is the act of working together, Life
for all has its. hardships and dis-
appointments but after all, this
World is a pretty good place and
we at least owe each other the
courtesy Of a smiling face and the
inspiration of a cherry word, In
her Summary the speaker said, "To
go about our work with pleasure,
to greet others with a Word Of en-
eottragement, to be happy in the

Even though it's washday Mother has plenty of
time to spend with the children, becauSe electricity
helps with the housework. The washing is done
automatically:.. by electricity. While she's away the
clothes will be washed and rinsed thoroughly, simply
by setting the dial on the automatic electric washer.
When , she comes home, the washing needs only to
be transferred to the automatic electric clothes
dryer. While she's busy preparing dinner' (on her
automatic electric range), the washing: will be dried
sunshine-fresh, automatically, whatever ,the
weather. Automatic electric laundry appliances are
safe, clean, and modern. They free you from wash-
day drudgery forever . ,' yet they cost just a few.
