A second number featured rhythm hand and sing- ing, A cantata followed with song and drama, showing the Bennett fam- ily with •Mrs. Bennett making pre- parations to entertain ' special guests who failed to show up for the Christmas dinner. At the re- quest of the children and her hus- band the Smith family with their ten children from down the street were invited to share their Christ- mas and the Bennett family found the secret of a happy Christmas. Characters were Mr. Bennett, Larry Simpson; Mrs. Bennett, Jo- anne Strong; Tom, Ken Farrish; Sue, Carol Robinson; Grandmother Bennett, Tena Van de Camp; the maid, Carol Keil; Tabby, the cat, Judy King; the neighbor's eat, Lin- da Johnston; Mr. Smith, Richard Collings; Mrs, Smith, Myrna Nuhn, Santa Claus, Alex Hamilton.
