Mr, Brophy, who had been only a short tune, w.as 70 years of age. Born in West Wawanosh Town- ship, he was .a son of the late W11= liana Brophy and Margaret Me- Court. He reeeived his early edu, cation at the .St, Augustine Sew - ate School and later took up.farm- ing hi his. native township. In 1932 he and his family, moved to Wing - ham', where Mr, Brophy was em played' until his retirement In 1955 He was married ' at ChepstoW on r Se tember 1~Eth 1920,� o the forme.
