on admission to the Wingharn General HOspital.
Some of the simulated injuries were so realistic
that they left a decidely chilling effect with' the
uninitiated who were observing.
• CENTRE LEFT—Another victim of the air
attack lies in hospital, 'where he receives treat-

helpers put their "disaster plan" into action..

phine Street.
RIGHT CENTRE—The leader of the rescue
-squad addresses a' few words of encouragement
to one of the blanketed air raid victims as he
waits for ambulance transportation to the hos-
pital.
LOWER RIGHT—Doctor and hospital orderly
take over as this casualty is admitted ,to the
Winghim General. The victims iwere examined
as they left the ambulance.
