For Levi J. Bieman
Rev. Greene officiated on Wed-
nesday afternoon ,of last week when
funeral service was held at the R.
A. Currie & Sons funeral home for
Levi John 13iernan. Pallbearers
were Roy, Mason and Calvin Rob-
insbn, Edgar Gaunt, john McBur-
ney, Athol Bruce. Roger Bieman,
John Gaunt, Cameron Robinson,
and Grant McBurney carried the
floral tributes. •
Mr. Bieman was born in Ben-
tinck Township, Grey County, 40
years age. He was a son of Mrs.
William Blown and the late Mr.
Bieman, He chose farming as an
occupation and following his mar-
riage to Catherine MacKay, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mac-
Kay, Walkerton, in June 1944, they
moved to R.R. 1 Belgrave ,in East
Wawanosh Township. •
Mr. Bieman has been ill for some
Lime and passed away on Septem-
ber 22nd, in Wingham General
Hospital.

three children, George 12, Allen 10
and Ann 4. His mother, Mrs. Wm.
Bieman, a brother and three sis-

The Board of Managers of
St. /Andrew's Presbyterian Church,
meeting on Monday evening, award -
the contract' for a 'sizable addition
to the church building. A new
Sunday School wing,* contain
classroores, vestry, and choir room,
will be erectdd an the open lot, at
the tear of the present church
building. Cost is likely to be in
the neighborhood of $25,000.00. The
(contract was let to Wilfred White,

The addition, which will be In-
corporated with the present struc-
ture, will be of chment block,
faced with brick, two storey's in
height. An immediate start will be
made on the new wing, which is
expected "to be completed by
