CKNX RADIO TO., INCREASE POWER Work will commence immediate:- y on the enlargement of the CKNX Radio transmitter station on High- way ,.No. 4, two miles south of town. . .The radio station has been grant- ed official permission to increase its pOwer from 1,000 to 2,500 watts, which will greatly increase the broadcast area, particularly to the south and east. The increased power will be used only in •the day- time. The transmitter building will be doubled in size, but the antenna equipment will not be altered.
