Wed in Teeswater At Knox Church Knox PreSbyterian Church, -Tees- water, was. the seen° of an early fall wedding on Saturday at 2 o'cloelt when Rev, T. McKinney united. In marriage Marjorie Cath- erine, eldest daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Morley Petteplace of Green- ock .and John Keith Walker Mc- Lennan, son Of Mrs. David Mc, Lerman of R.R., 2, Bluevale and the late Mr. IWeLennan, Mrs. R„ King was organist and soloist and sang -"Q Perfect Love" during• the • signing of the register. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a baller- ina length dress of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle with matching lace lacket and stand-no collar, The skirt cascaded in five tiers with lane panes front and back. Her pill-box style headdress was set with irridescent sequins, completed by a finger-tip veil. She carried a White Bible topped with a pale mauve orchid, with white stephan- otis and white ribbon streamers, Miss Marilyn Petteplace was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a ballerina-length gown simi- lar to that of the bride with a ruf- fled lace "frou frou" top. Her bouffant skirt, worn over a hoop,' was made up of rows of net ano lace. She wore a. matching head- dress and carried a nosegay of pink and white mums. The flower girls, two sisters, Misses Luanne and Beth Thomp- son wore short dresses of green nylon over taffeta with matching green cummerbunds and headdress- es, They carried baskets of pink and white mums. Wilfred Warwick of Brussels act- ed as groomsman, The bride's mother received the guests at her home for the recep- tion following the ceremony, Mrs. Petteplace wore a blue crepe dress with satin yoke and white acces- sories. The groom's mother assisted. in a black and' white dress with black cummerbund and matching floating panels. She wore white accessories. Each had a pink rose corsage. Before leaving on a trip to the United States Mrs. McLenna don- ned a beige faille sheath with matching duster, orange ice acces- sories and she had an orchid cor- sage. --Mrs. B. H. Laidlaw, September 6 at, 12 o'clock noon. Rev, B, F. Green' performed the ceremony in Calvin United Church. Mr. Todd gave his daughter 'in marriage. She wore a floor length gown of , hand-clipped Chantilly lace, and miramist taffeta over net and satin. The Chantilly lace basque bodice. featured a scalloped sabrina neckline, embroidered with seed pearls and sequins, and tapern end lace sleeves. The full bouffant skirt of miramist taffeta had a pleated taffeta, swag back bustles high, lighted with jewelled lace medallions cascading to a demure chapel ' train, Her flowers were Sweetheart r o s e sa with white ,streamers, Isabelle MacPherson of London was maid of honor and Miss Norma Murray, St. Helens, was, bridesmaid. They wore floor lengt gowns of musty pink and aqua organza, fashioned with molded bodices, em- pire waist lines of soft, pleated folds and matching bolero jackets. The bouffant skirts of double tulle . with overskirts of organza, were caught up at both sides with a deep' shaded rose. They' carrled nose- ' gays 'of blue and pink carnations, respectively. ' .
