moved to the 12th of W, Wawanosh,
lost a valuable cow one day last
week. She got in on the barn
floor and fell through to the stable
below, and died from injuries,
John McGee lost a, valuable cow
on Monday morning; It got through
the fence into heavy alfalfa, bloat-
ed and died,
Mr. and Mrs, E, E, Walker spent
the week-end at the home of their
son, Mr, Roy Walker of Kitchener.
Mr. Fisher of Zetland had the
hydro turned on in his home last
week.
Mrs. Roane, who has been ill at
the home of her daughter, Mrs
Jas. Nfcinnis, was taken to Wing-
ham Hospital on Wednesday last

Paul Groskorth finished his work

Women's 'Institute had the pleasure
of intertaining the Bluevale Insti-
tute Branch at their regular meet-
ing held 'Tuesday evening, Septem-
ber 2nd, in the Wroxeter commun-
ity hall.
The 'president, Mrs. G. Howes,
was in• the chair and opened the
meeting with the singing of the
Ode and repeating of the Mary
Stuart Collect:. The motto, "All
roads worth taking lead upward";
was ably taken by Mrs.'C. Gathers.
The business was dealt with and it
was agreed to hold' the progressive
euchres every1Wo weeks, beginning
in October,
