Church Groups Need Great Co=operation The 1st vice-president Miss C. Gilkinsen occupied the chair at the regular meetine•,t of 'St. Andrew's Presbyterian Women's Missionary Society on Friday. Mrs. John Mitchell read the Scripture lesson, and gave a short meditation on the Passage. Prayer was offered by Miss Agnes Mitchell. After the reading of the minutes, lettere from' Miss Laura Collar, Nigeria, Africa and Miss Ellen Anderson,, Br. Guiana, were read by Mrs. T. A. Currie. A solo "Art Thou Weary?" sung by Mrs. Wm., Ford, was much enjoyed. Mrs. Leslie l'"ortune introduced the topic for the day "The Total Church—Whrkihg Together". She told of the concern of the church at large that greater co-operation be developed within the church between Organizations of men and women. The increase' in female participatibn in secular labour,is a. great loss 'to ' the work of the church. Mrs. Geo. Day recommend- ed several passages of Scripture which dealt with the subject of equality of responsibility.
