Mr. and Mrs. Hector Hamilton, Aleii Carman and Joyce have re- turned from a holiday at Port El- gin, Miss Faye Edgar of St. Thomas, is visiting with Miss Karen Michel. Mr. and Mrs. Vie Shera of Moore- field were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. W. C, King. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Galbraith were in London on Wednesday to visit their son, Jimmie, who has been a patient at the Children's .War Memorial Hospital for several weeks. He is making a good re- covery and it is expected he will be able to return home soon. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Butler of God- erich, F/0 Walter and Mrs. Alex- ander Gryba, and two children of Winnipeg spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. T. L. McInnes. Mr. and Mrs. George Brown and Jean haye returned from a horse- less carriage tour through Orillia, Huntsville, Santa Claus village, Eracebridge and Minden. Thirty- two antique cars completed the tour. Si. HELENS United Church Mission Band BLUEVALE—The Mission Band met in the United Church on Tues- day afternoon with 19 in atten- dance. 'Bruce Cor- rigan and Bill Garniss collected the Offering. Birthday greetings were sung for Ruth lVfathers and Bill Garniss. Margaret Craig' reviewed the story given at the last meeting. GRAPE JELtit 4 cups juice (about 3 quarts ripe Concord grapes) 7 cups (3 lbs.) sugar l/2 bottle Certo fruit pectin First, prepare the Juice. Stem about 3 quarts fully ripe grapes. Crush thoroughly. Add 1/2 ctip water; bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, 10 minutes. Place in jelly • cloth or bag and squeeze out juice. Measure 4 cups into a very large saucepan. Now make the jelly. Add sugar to juice in saucepan, and mix well. Place over high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in Certo at once. Then bring to a full rolling boil, Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, skim off foam with metal spoon. Pour quickly into glasses.
