Harry F. McGee
Passes Suddenly
Harry Frederick McGee, a resi-
dent of Frances Street passed'
away suddenly during the eight at
his home on Sunday, July 13, It is
believed that he suffered a heart
attack. A
Mr, McGee was born in East
Wawanosh, a son of the late John
McGee and Elizabeth Stewart,' in
1870. He attended Fordyce School.
He married Ap,neS Robertson
and they operated a farm mitt'
1914, when they moved to Wing-
ham and he worked at several,
trades here, Mrs. McGee died •in
1920 and lie later married Minnie
Halliday, ,who predecease(' hini in
April of last year,
, Surviving • are 'a brother,- John
McGee of East Wawarmsh and a
sister, Mrs, Jennie Simpson; of
London. A sister „Mrs. Janies Roh-
ertson (Carrie) of 'Scattier Wash-
ington and a brother, R. S.. McGee
of Wingham, predeceased him,
Mr. McGee was an active mem-
ber of St. Andrew's, Church. He
has 'h4n a member of the Session
since coming to Wingham, was.
Clerk of the. Session until three,
years ago and has also 'been Sun---:
day School Superintendent.' He'
was also a Mason, belonging to
Wingham Lodge .No. 286, A.F.

The funeral will he. held this
(Wednesday) afternoon from' the.
R. A.- Currie & Sons funeral home
at two o'clock, Rev, R. T. A, Mar-
shall and Rev. T. G. Husser will•

Mrs. Philip Harding
Buried at Gorrie
Mrs, Philip Harding passed, away
Guelph on Tuesday, July 8th in
her 80th year following a lengthy
-
Mrs. Harding was the former,
Fanny McWhinney' Weir, a daugh-
ter of the late John and Margaret
Weir and Mrs. Frank VanStcine of
Wingham, a sister, is the only
surviving member of the fatally,
She married Philip Harding in
1902• and they were well known in
this district, having lived at'
Ford wl ch, Gorrie and Clifford, Mr-
Hording,. predeceased her In Feb-
ruary of this year, -
. Surviving' besides her sister, are
two ,dauihters, Mrs, George
(Esther) Leslie of Melrose Park,
and 1190 Pearl Harding of
Gitelph, with, whom she had •resid-;
ed since last fall; two sons, Sam-
uel ,of -Toronto and Henry of-Dante
Pointe, ,California, Two sans, John
and. Clifford predeceased her.
There :are also 16 grandchildren
and 13 great-grandchildren,
Funeral service was held at the
MeLanaghanjWall funeral home in.
Guelnli on,' Thursday afternoon,
July'. 10th with Rev; Mr. Rose of
Harcourt Memorial Church, Guelph
*officiating, Interment was in Gor•
rue . Cemetery.
