Remove steeds. Grind, chop fine, or slice crosswise wafer thin, Add Vs 'cup water and 3/8 teaspoon soda. Bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, Crush thoroughly about 1 quart fully ripe strawberries. Combine fruits and juices and measure 4 cups into very large saucepan, Oen, make the marmalade. Add ItLgar to fruit in saucepan, mix well., Piece over high heat, bring to a full rolling boil. Boil hard trtinete, stirring constantly. Re- -Move from heat, etir in Certo once. Skim off foam with metal . spoon, Stir and skim by turns for 5 Minutes to cool slightly, to pre- vent iloating fruit. Ladle quickly into glesses. Cover at once with 4.e inchlhot paraffin. Makes about 10 mediion glasses.
