BLUEVALE—The ouarterly
meetings of the W.M.S. and the
Ladies' Aid were held in Knox
Presbyterian Church on Wednes-
day, The' president, Mrs. R, J. Mc-
Murray presided at the W.M.S.
Meeting and conducted devotions.
Reports followed, The roll call was
answered by reporting "Something
of interest from the previous
month's meeting." Mrs, Burns
Moffatt read the Scripture.
Mrs. McMurray gave some high-
lights of the Presbyterial meeting
held at Kincardine recently. Mrs.
Roy Turvey read letters of interest
from 1Wissionarieg. Miss Ida White,
of the Bihl Field, 'India, and Miss
Dorothy Douglas of the Korean
Field, Japan, Mrs. William Mundell
closed the meeting with prayer. •
A business meeting of the Ladies'
Aid followed the W.M.S. meeting,
the president, Mrs. Harry Elliott
in charge, Arrangements were
made for the centennial services
in the church on June 15th and
the garden party to be held on the
17th.

BELMORE—The Belinore United
Church W.M.S. met at the home
of Mrs. Alvin Fitch for the May
meeting on Wednesday, May 25th,
with a1 good 'attendance. Mrs. John
Rutherford was leader, opening
the meeting with a •panel discus-
sion on the colour question, in
Which Mrs. Joe Simmons, Mrs. Er-
rington and Mrs. West took part.
This was followed by a group dis-
cussion.

a reading "The Strange Dream".
Mrs: Arthur Fitch read from the
Missionary Monthly and Mrs. Earl
Fitch read the 7th chapter of the
study book "Cross and Crisis in
Japan".
The temperance reading was
given by Mrs. Abraham. The roll
call was answered by a verse from
the Bible containing verse word
"Tree". Mrs. West presided over
the business session, The meeting
was closed with prayer by Mrs.
John Rutherford.
