Extensive Damage
Caused by Fire
'Shortly after the luneh hour on.
Monday fire broke out at the
slaughterhouse in Turnberry Town-
ship northwest of Wingham awned
by Percy Deyell. Though the lo-
cal fire brigade responded immed-
iately to the alarm, considerable
damage was done 'to the -building
before the fire was brought under
control.
For a time the residence of Dan
Cook, located nearby, was threat-
ened as the wind spread sparks
and burning embers.
