Funeral, Last Week
For Miss E, Procter
The death occurred suddenly at
Belgrave, on Monday afternoon,
April 28th, of Edith E. Proder,-
daughter of the late Mn' and Mrs.
George Procter,
The •deceased was a life-long
resident of this community having
been born on the Bth concession of
of , Morris Township and moved
to Belgrave a-bout 22 years /Igo,
where she has been employed in a
local retail store for the past few
years. She' was a faithful . Member
of Knox United Church, Belgrave,
iSbe leaves to -mourn one- sister
(Florence) ,Mrs. Gordon Higgins
and one brother, Wilbert Procter,
both of Morris Township.
The funerar was held from the
S: 3, Walker funeral home, Wing-
ham, on Wednesday afternoon at
two-thirty o'clock, to Brandon
Cemetery, Belgrave. 'Rev, Krug
officiated.

BY-LAW NO. 1306 1958
A By-law prohibiting the disposal
of Waste Materials on Public
and Town Property
WHEREAS the Council of the
Municipal Corporation of the Town
of Wingham deem it expedient to
pass a by-law prohibiting the dis-
posal of Waste materials on its
streets, sidewalks, boulevards and
parks as provided by the Municipal
Act, R.S.O. 1950, Chapter 243.
THEREFORE, the Council of the
Municipal Corporation of the
Town of Wingham enacts as fol-
lows:
1. THAT no person shah dispose
of or discard or litter any type
of garbage, refuse, papers or any
other waste materials on any street,
sidewalk, boulevard, park or pub-
lie place within the Corporation of
the Town of Wingham or cause
same to be done.
2, THAT any person who con-
travenes and is found guilty of any
infraction of this by-law, shall
upon conviction, forfeit and pay a
fine, 411 the discretion of the con-
victing Magistrate, not exceeding
$50.00 exclusive of cods with same
to be reeoVerable. under The Sum-
mary Convictions Act, R.S.O. 1950,
Chapter 379, the provisions of
which shall apply, except that in
the case of imprisonment, same
shall not, be for a term exceeding
ten days.
This byelaw shall come into
force and be effective on and after
the 5th day of May, A,D., 1958,
