The death of an esteemed resi-
dent of this community, Mrs, Wm.
M, Reid, took place on 'Sunday at
the 'Wingham General Hospital,
less than two months after the
death of her husband. She had
been ill for the past two years,.
Mrs, Reid was the former Mar-
the Wheeler, and was a daughter
of the late Henry Wheeler and
lamina Taylor. She was: horn - in
Turnberry Township 76 years ago.
She was educated in East Wawa -
nosh Township and on October 9,
1912 she was married in: Wingham
to William M, Reid, who -predeceas-
ed •' her on 'February 7 this year.
Mrs,"Reid was a member of St,'
Andrew's Presbyterian Chhruch.
She is survived by three daugh-
ters and one son, Mrs, Morley
(Evelyn) Kirkland, Fort Erie; Mrs:
Jack (Mildred) Hillman and Mrs.
Lee (Louise) Simpeil, both of Tor-
onto, and Scott Reid,' •Wingham;
two brothers and two sisters, Ar-
thur Wheeler, Turnberry; Thmas-
Wheeler, Mrs, Mary Hogg ,and
Major' Margaret Wheeler (SA), :all
of Wingham. There are four grand-
children and one great-grandchild.
Dr. A. Nimmo will be in charge
of the service at R, A. - Currie &
Sons funeral home at 2 p.m,, this
(Wednesday) afternoon following
which interment will be made in
the Wingham- Cemetery, Pallbear-
ers will be four nephews, Henry
and Arthur Wheeler, Wilbur Hogg
and. Harry Wright and Charles
Hodgins and. A. 'D. MacWilliam,
