Phone Seaforth collect 527-2328. 51-1 JACK WICKSTEAD A former Morris Township resi­ dent passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 1992 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Jack Wickstead was bom on Feb. 16, 1906 in New Port, Schropshire, Eng. He was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Wick­ stead and his wife the former Beat­ rice Thornton. Mr. Wickstead was a farmer dur­ ing his lifetime but in recent years lived at Livingstone Manor in Lis­ towel. He was a member of Blue­ vale United Church. He was the beloved brother of Nancy Jackson and Mary Wick­ stead, both of England and the dear brother-in-law of Elsie (Mrs. Alvin) Smith and Wilson Thornton, both of Bluevale, Alice (Mrs. Hilliard) Jefferson of Kincardine and Eunice (Mrs. Joseph) Marshall of Listowel. He was also prede­ ceased by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held at the McBumey Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16. Rev*. Randy Banks was the officiating clergy. Brussels’ Novices down Zurich Brussels Novice Houseleague played in Zurich on Dec. 18 and successfully beat Zurich 4-3. The first period saw Brussels score the only goal when Brian Oldfield took a pass from Chris Coulter. Brussels played hard with Oldfield scoring one unassisted goal and a second off a pass from Lee Dilworth. Zurich came back and scored a goal, making it a 3-1 game at the end of two. The third period saw Zurich put the pressure on, scoring one to make it 3-2, but Brussels came back with a break away by Darrell McClure off a play by Robert Kerr to pull ahead once again by two. Zurich then scored once more to end the game 4-3. Brussels played penalty-free again and goal duty was shared by Matt Elliott and Scott McDonald.
