Donna Lynn Armstrong, RR2, Aubum, was one of the big winners of the evening. She took home the Aubum Co-op Trophy for having the Reserve Champion Dairy Calf at the Seaforth Fall Fair. She also won the Huron Dairy Equipment Award for the highest score from Huron County at the 4-H Dairy Sil- Jamie Hallahan, RR3, Blyth, won the Cargill Limited Award as high intermediate judge at the county judging competition and the D & D Glass Trophy as Reserve Champion Dairy Showman at the Seaforth Fair. His brother, Ryan Hallahan, won the Elliott Insurance Trophy for showing the Champion Dairy Calf at the Seaforth Fair. Debbie Rintoul, RR2, Lucknow, cleaned up in the 4-H beef cate­ gories. She won the Brussels Agro­ mart Award as high senior judge in the Huron County Judging Compe­ tition, the Clinton Community Credit Union Award as Champion Beef Showman at the Seaforth Fair; the Toronto Dominion Bank Award as the Champions Sweepstakes Showman at the Seaforth Fair; the United Co-operatives of Ontario Award for the highest overall score. in the Huron County Judging Com­ petition and the Stan Jackson Award for having the grand cham­ pion steer at the Seaforth Fall Fair. Darlene Black of Belgrave won the other Stan Jackson Award for having the highest total points by a beef club member. She also won the Don Pullen Award as the 4-H member receiving the highest number of points for club work in 1992. Kevin Rintoul, RR2, Luc­ know, won the J. A. Anstett Award as the Champion Junior Beef Showman as the Seaforth Fair. In the horse club awards, the big winner was Miranda MacDonald, RR3, Auburn who won the John Franken Memorial Trophy for the highest points in a county horse club; the W4 Stock Farm Award as high point exhibitor in the Champi­ onship Horse Show at the Seaforth Fair; and the trophy as Champion Horse Showman at Seaforth Fair. Jennifer Black, RR1, Belgrave, received the high point novice exhibitor at the County Horse Fun Day. Brian Sinclair, RR1, Belgrave, won the Bank of Montreal Award as top first year member of a swine club; the Bergsma Award for exhibiting the championship gilt as the Seaforth Fair, and the Bill Turnbull Award for the highest points by a member exhibiting Yorkshire pigs. Jamie Thomas, RR1, Ethel, won the Ed Watson award for having the championship market pig at the Seaforth Fair and the Huron County Pork Producers' Award as the member with the highest points in a swine club. Richard Terpstra, RR3, Brussels, won a Bill Tumbull Award for sec­ ond highest score of a member exhibiting Yorkshire pigs. Kevin Campschroer, RR1, Blyth won the Doug Kennedy Award as Reserve Champion Sheep show­ man. Jenean Todd, R.R.2, Luc­ know won the Paul Klopp Award as champion 4-H showman. Jeff Grobbink, RR3, Walton, won the Ross Gordon Award for the member with the best crown at the 4-H Junior Day at the Huron County Plowing Match. He also took Sodbuster Leader Award for the top land plowed at the achieve­ ment program with a competitive plow. Mark McNichol, RR4, Wal­ ton won the Sodbuster award for the top land plowed with a non­ competitive plow and Darrell Dal­ ton, RR1, Walton won the award for the youngest active member in the Sodbuster's club. Chastity Bos won the Warden's Novice for the novice member with the highest points in the county.
