LondesboroTine news from sings in church Elizabeth Bowman delighted the congregation of Auburn Missionary Church on Sunday, Nov. 1 with her rendition of “Purest Praise”. Pastor Came's message, entitled Fit for Fellowship, was taken from Hebrews 10: 1-18. Jail is confining and frightening, but we read in Hebrews 9:27 man is destined to die once and after that to face judgement. In Chapter 10 we see we are dead to God and to holiness and in our human condition we are separated from God. To be fit for fellowship we must draw near to God. By nature we are far off but by Jesus' sacrifice we can draw near to God. The Old Testament sacrifices were a shadow of good things to come. A youth team from the Canada East Conference of the Missionary Church will be in Auburn and surrounding communities from Thursday, Nov. 5 to Tuesday, Nov. 10. All young people are invited to join in the fellowship. Six tables in euchre play There were six tables in play at the euchre party held Tuesday evening, Oct. 27 at the Community Hall.
