Blyth hosts Discovery Days Beginning Sept. 27 several of the local churches will be hosting four days of spiritual awareness. The four days will consist of many activities for all ages, starting with a youth get-together on Sunday afternoon, 5 p.m. for all teens. The youth will be barbecuing hamburgers and hot dogs while being" entertained by Something Something, a band from the Chatham area, at the Lions Park in Blyth. Sunday evening there will be a gathering at the theatre in the Blyth Memorial Hall. This will be a time for a variety of special music and a guest speaker, Rev. Gavin Williams from Australia. Rev. Williams and his wife, Glenda will be in Blyth as part of a international ministry tour that includes India and Canada. He is the director of Campaigners For Christ in New South Wales, an organization committed to equipping and motivating people around the world to a richer fuller life. There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments following Rev. Williams' address, each night in the downstairs of the hall. Mrs. Williams will be speaking to the ladies of the area on Wednesday morning at the Blyth United Church and this will serve as the fall kick-off for most of the bible study groups. The couple will be meeting each day over lunch with the workers of the churches for leadership enhancement. STANLEY MUSTARD Stanley Mustard of Brussels died Monday at Wingham and District Hospital. He was 76. He is survived by two sisters, Lena Mustard of Brussels and Iso- bel Walsh of Mitchell and prede­ ceased by one sister, Freda Mowbrey. At the request of Mr. Mustard, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place and the interment of the cremated remains will take place at Brussels Cemetery.
