Obituaries CALVIN JAMES Calvin James of Morris Town­ ship passed away suddenly on Sat­ urday, Sept. 12, 1992 as the result of an accident. He was 35. Mr. James was the beloved son of Annie James and the late Glen James who predeceased him in 1987. He was the loving brother of Brian James of Morris Township, Gwen and Murray Hinz of Mitchell and the late Murray James, who died in 1989. He was the dear uncle of Stacey and Ben Hinz and David James. Mr. James will also be remembered by several aunts and uncles. Visitation was held at Betts Funeral Home in Brussels from 7- 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Rev. Paul Acton officiated at the service on Wednesday afternoon at 2. Carrying Mr. James to his final resting place at Brussels Cemetery were Ross McCall, Don Coleman, Chris Lee, Rob McIntosh, Arnold Dawson and Murray Dawson. Stacey Hinz carried floral tributes. What services currently provided by C.P.H. do you consider to be least important? EDGAR DANE Edgar Dane of Wroxeter died suddenly at Dufferin Area Hospital in Orangeville on Friday, Sept. 11, 1992. He was in his 67th year. Mourning his passing most deeply is his wife the former Eleanor Taylor. He was the loving father of Barry and Luccianna Dane of St. Catherines, Ivan and Lynn Dane of Wroxeter, Myra and Kevin Stuart of Medicine Hat, Alta., Laurel and Andrew Jaun- zeims of RR2, Harriston and Shau- na and Troy Hamilton of Brussels. He was the dear brother of Elva Jacques of Gorrie and Mildred Edgar of St. Thomas. Eleven grandchildren are also left to mourn his passing. Mr. Dane was predeceased by one son, Neil William in infancy. Mr. Dane rested at Betts Visita­ tion Centre, Gorrie, on Monday Sept. 14 until the funeral service the following afternoon at 2. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated at the ser­ vice. Flowerbearers were Faye Edgar, Nancy Taylor, Muriel Taylor and Marion Taylor. Pallbearers were William Taylor, William Stafford, Murray Mulvey, Don Nichol, Glen Hays and Ron Douglas. Interment was at Gorrie Ceme­ tery. In remembrance donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. ELLEDA MABEL WIGHTMAN Elleda Mabel Wightman of 537 Inglis St., Lucknow, died at Wing­ ham and District Hospital on Fri­ day, Sept. 18, 1992. She was 95. The former Elleda Mathers was bom in Lucknow on June 11, 1897. Her parents were the late Henry Mathers and Margaret Gallagher. She was a member of Lucknow United Church. Mrs. Wightman was the dear mother of Elvin and Evelyn Wight­ man of Niagara Falls, Margaret and John Hildebrand of West Wawanosh Township, Harvey Wightman of Lucknow, Hattie Boothman of Calgary and Norman and Florence Wightman of West Wawanosh Township. She was the dear sister of Pharis Mathers of RR1, Lucknow. Thirteen grandchil­ dren and 14 great-grandchildren are also left to mourn her passing. Mrs. Wightman was predeceased by her husband Earl. Rev. G.
