Along with the craft show, fundraisers put on a pork chop supper, silent auction and bidding auction Saturday to raise money for building improvements to the church. The Huron Perth Presbytery is meeting Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 9 ^a.m. in Wroxeter United Church. The senior youth group will meet on Thursday, Sept. 24 at Paul's place for a monopoly marathon. Bring your game board. The next Youth Group meeting is on Thursday, Oct. 1. They will play the game of flags. Colleen Carter, Cathy Broome and Doreen Carter enjoyed the show Dreams on Ice at the Windsor Arena on Saturday evening, Sept. 19. The stars of the show were Isabelle Brasseur, Lloyd Eisler, Elvis Stoyko, Brian Orser and several other pairs and singles. All proceeds were donated to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada of which Isabelle and Lloyd are National Spokespersons. Health planning focus of meeting Health planning in Huron County is the focus of the second annual public information meeting of the Huron Health and Social Services Liaison Committee (HHSSL) to be held Sept. 29 at the Clinton OMAF office. Doreen Thibert, Planner for the Health Planning Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Health will report on the establishment of a steering committee for a District Health Council. She'll also talk about changes to health planning priorities in Ontario. Formed in 1990, the HHSSL committee's primary goal has been to find providers for filling identi­ fied gaps in county-wide health and social services.
