WILLIAM GOW William Gow of Huronview, for­ merly of Auburn and Belgrave died at Clinton Public Hospital on Sept. 8, 1992. He was 87. Mr. Gow was born in Oxford County, a son of the late William and Emma Gow. Until 1968, Mr. Gow farmed in East Wawanosh Township. He was a member of Victoria United Church, Goderich. Mr. Gow was predeceased by his wife, the former Luella Wilson in 1986. Left to mourn his passing are his children Gladys and Jack Ladd, RR2, Goderich; Violet and Len Brindley, RR3, Auburn; Donna and Glen Wales, Delaware and William and Rose Nahrgang, Rostock. He was the dear brother of Kathleen Facey of Bright, Ont. Three sisters, Rachel Sharman, Minnie Zinn and Gertrude Nahrgang and five brothers, Allan, James, Fred, Albert and Robert also predeceased him. Funeral services were held at the Tasker Chapel of the Beattie-Fal­ coner Funeral Home in Blyth at 2 p.m. on Sept. 10. Rev. Rick Magie officiated. Pallbearers were Ronald and Larry Brindley, Michael and Ken Wales, Kim Ladd and Ken Nahrgang. Flowerbearers were Elwyn Brindley, John Wales and Richard Nahrgang. Interment was at Blyth Union Cemetery. EDWIN (TED) FEAR Edwin (Ted) Fear of 139 Queen St., Clinton died on Sept. 7, 1992. A retired farmer, Mr. Fear was bom in Blyth on April 1, 1921. His parents were the late Russell Fear and Arietta May Potter. On Jan. 20, 1945, Mr. Fear married the former Faye McDowell. Besides his wife, those mourning his passing most deeply are his children, Wendy and Del Nixon, Baltimore, Ont.; Rhon­ da and Hugh Love, Atwood; Owen and Valerie Fear, Exeter and Stephan Fear, Radium Hot Springs, B.C. He will be remembered by his sister Nellie Buller, Ridgetown and brother Bert Fear of Vanastra. He is survived as well by a sister-in-law Margaret Fear of Belgrave. Mr. Fear was the beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren and two great­ grandchildren. The funeral services at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 were conducted by Rev. David Woodall Interment was at Clinton Cemetery. KARL JAMES ULCH A tragic accident claimed the life of Karl James Ulch, RR1, Dungan­ non, who died at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Sept. 7, 1992. He was seven years of age. Bom in Clinton on Feb. 24, 1985, Karl was a son of Ron Ulch and the former Gail Caldwell. He was a student at Brookside Public School and attended Sunday School at Dungannon United Church. He was the dear brother of Cas­ sandra and Katrina. Karl will be forever remembered by his grand­ parents, Ray and Reante Ulch, Dungannon, Jack Caldwell, Blyth and Evelyn Robichaud, New Brunswick. Also left to mourn his passing are his great-grandparents Margaret Caldwell, Blyth; Edith Arndt, Detroit; Jack and Josie McCann, Cottam and Arthur Hal­ lam, Seaforth. Karl was prede­ cased by his great-grandfather Earl Caldwell Funeral services were held at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. Rev. O. Bogart and Rev. G. Bogart of Dungannon United Church officiated. Carrying floral tributes were Sheril Govier, Dave Plant, Paul McIntosh and Joe Fraser. Pallbear­ ers were Ray Ulch Jr., Roger Ulch, Trent Caldwell and Nelson Cald­ well. Interment was at Blyth Union Cemetery. The Clinton Public Hospital is planning for its future.
