Couple marries in Brussels St. Ambrose Church in Brussels was the setting for the August 8, 1992 wedding uniting Diana H. Van Den Broek, daughter of Hank and Ria Van Den Broek of Brus­ sels, and Stephen W. Dolmage, son of Neil and Loretta Dolmage of RR 4, Walton. Father Joe Nevett Services to resume On Sunday, Sept. 6, church services will resume at Duff's United Church at 10 a.m. and Bluevale United Church services at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. All attended Oct. Women’s Month “Living History: Ask Your Foremother About HER-story”, is the theme for the first annual Women's History Month in Canada, this October. To celebrate, talk to your foremothers - your mother, aunt or grandmother about their lives and their memories of Canada. There is a part of Canadian history that has not been told. Write it down, tape it or make a video - before it is lost forever. Women's achievements have often been overlooked in standard history books, because history has was the officiating clergy. The bride was attended by her maid-of-honour Marilyn Zimmer­ man, friend of the bride, of RR 1, Gorrie. Acting as bridesmaids were Rita Van Den Broek of Brus­ sels, sister of the bride, Tamara Kieffer of Bluevale, friend of the Sunday as it is the anniversary of Bluevale United. Anniversary service at Walton is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. There is senior choir practice on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. the Combine Crunch in Seaforth Sunday afternoon. Vance Stevenson and friend Dave of Whitby visited with Chris Stevenson and other relatives in the area. traditionally focused on political, military and economic leaders and events. Women had an equally valuable role to play in shaping our communities, in countless ways - in the home, in the workplace, in schools, hospitals and religious institutions, as volunteers, reformers and community leaders. The flower girl was Rachael Atton of Wroxeler, friend of the bride. Soloists Miriam Terpstra of Brussels, and Frank Geurtjens of Neustadt were accompanied by organist Anna Terpstra of Brussels. Scripture readings were given by Pauline Alton of Wroxeter and Marlene Glanville of RR 4, Wal­ ton. Family and friends paid tribute to the newlyweds at a reception in the Brussels, Morris and Grey Commu­ nity Centre. Guests at the wedding came from as far away as Holland and New­ foundland. The Dolmages went to the Dominican Republic for their hon­ eymoon. The bridal couple will reside in Burlington.
